Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast District President and Memorial Club Member, Susan Schwartz, celebrates the Districts sweep of awards aT the 91st National Exchange Club Convention. In addition to numerous other awards, the Memorial Club was the only one to win the Club Hat Trick. Susan received the President's Award as well as the Distinguished District President Award.

Tony Ackerman accepts the Club Hat Trick award for achievement in membership growth, retention and club building. This was the first year this award was given and Memorial was the only Club to earn it.

5K Walk to Stomp Out Child Abuse
Walkers enjoy cake Saturday at the Memorial Exchange Club’s Stomp Out Child Abuse Walkathon at Memorial City Mall. The elimination of child abuse is a national project of the Exchange Club. Locally, the Memorial Exchange Club supports ESCAPE, which works to prevent child abuse and neglect in vulnerable families in the Houston area.

The Brookwood Community brought the largest contigent of walkers to Saturday's Stomp Out Child Abuse Walkathon, sponsored by the Memorial Exchange Club and held at Memorial City Mall. They’re congratulated by Exchange Club president Tony Ackerman (brown shirt, right).
